About

A passion for boating has been a constant theme, since the early days of family cruising from the South of England to the Channel Islands and France, as an 11 year old; through team racing in sailing dinghies at Southampton University in my student days; to eventually sailing around the World in my own 36’ yacht.

Professionally, I have been extremely fortunate to have worked for Dubois Naval Architects, at various stages in my career, initially as an in-house Naval Architect. After completing my circumnavigation, I commenced work in New Zealand as a contract Naval Architect and was once again working for Dubois on various projects on a consulting basis.

Latterly, some significant collaboration with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design has been extremely innovative and inspiring.

In between these design projects, my other project work for local and overseas clients has given me a diverse portfolio of experience, which really helps to broaden my approach to design and problem solving.
